Overview
The relocation of Jubilee Ward to Charles Ward is a strategic project supported by key stakeholders, including the Executive, Frimley ICB, NHSPS, and local councillors. Due to risks at Jubilee’s current location and the need to complete capital works across two financial years, services on Charles Ward must vacate by 31st October 2025. This enables refurbishment to begin in November 2025, ensuring the move is completed by Summer 2026.
Project Objectives
- Vacate Charles Ward by 31st October 2025.
- Relocate MSK services to Block 16 and Talking Therapies to Foundation House.
- Complete all works between 21st October 2025 and 26th November 2025.
- Deliver a safe, compliant clinical environment meeting IPC, water safety, and fire safety standards.

Funding & Support
- MSK relocation to Block 16: £170k for modernization, IPC upgrades, acoustic treatment, IT installation, and accessibility improvements.
- Talking Therapies relocation to Foundation House: £15k for acoustic management and minor works.
